Progress

Hey all, just a quick update on the project.

I've now officially crossed off 60 places on your lists, so I'm definitely coming along.

Points to note:
A few of you mentioned The Album Leaf, and I finally listened to some today. Took awhile to grow on me, but I definitely liked it. Reminded me a lot of Sigur Ros, but even MORE mellow, if that's at all possible.

Stewie recommended The Creepshow, who I ended up seeing live. What a GREAT band.

That's about it for now.

Not Forgotten!

Some really hot guy just sold me about 7 of the albums on the lists. Yay! Progress continues.

Updates

Between listening to albums at work, and home and on my iPod, I was finding it pretty difficult to actually keep track of how many albums I'd listened to, how many lists they were on, blah blah blah. So I haven't forgotten the project! Albums are still being crossed off! But I think now major updates will only occur when I complete a full list, or if I find something new I really love.

Wow, this week sucked. I only listened to OK Computer. Well, I listened to a lot of stuff that wasn't listed. But, sadly, nothing else listed. Thank god it was on 2 lists.

My week started out SO well last week, but sort of dwindled in the middle. It was honestly too cold to take my iPod anywhere with me. Hopefully this week will see an improvement.

Discovered This Week:

I definitely like Abbey Road more than Revolver or Sgt. Pepper. . . however after listening to Sgt Pepper about 3 times in a row at work the other day, I definitely felt like it was growing on me much more than I expected. Still. . . Abbey Road is the clear winner in the three-way Beatles cage match this list created.
